Gisele, the model, is not really a heavily tattooed girl but they have certainly made it look very realistic.

I would just like to include one more advertising picture for Playstation that is great fun although a little dark. Even though it isn’t really about the tattoo; the image still emulates the sub culture:

In the early 1990s, a tattoo trend surfaced on beaches and in nightclubs all over the world. This controversial tattoo trend, as it later would come to be known… the “Tramp Stamp.”

Tramp Stamp is a demeaning term that came about refers a woman’s lower back tattoo. It seems this tattoo area is especially popular among women born in the late 70’s, 80‘s, and even early 90’s.

The lower back area of a woman’s body is regarded as highly attractive, making this area of the body particularly popular for tattoos among women. Tattoos themselves have long been stereotyped as being trashy looking, yet hands down the tramp stamp takes the prize for reputation.

tattoos are a growing trend our society as well as in fashion Ed Hardy jumped started the tattoo trend i like this trend because if tattoos aren't for and instead of going out and getting something perminent you can just put on a a cool tattoo graphic dress, tee or accessory.

Angelina has a mix of tattoos on both her arms. Her left bicep previously had the name "Billy Bob" and a black tribal dragon on it. Both of those pieces have since been removed by laser treatments. In their place are now the latitude and longitude coordinates for the birthplaces of Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax. Be on the lookout for 43n42, 7e15 to be added to Angelina's arm sometime in the

Imagine people with blue green ones, red ones... Yes this is possible! Sounds insane but people are getting their eyes tattooed. Tattoos have gone too far.

You must have seen many using tattoos as eyeliners, eyebrows and eye shadows but the latest trend in permanent ink is eye tatt.

Shhh… tattoo gets people talking. Finger tattoos are catching on. Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay-Z and now a British singer named Lily Allen, have gotten finger tattoos. Beyonce and Jay-Z put IV on their wedding ring fingers. Smile copied Rihanna’s “shhh…” index finger tattoo.

This duplication of finger messages reminds me of “Night of the Hunter” and “Do the Right Thing.” “Do the Right Thing” pays homage to a scene in “Night of the Hunter” where one fist spells out HATE and the other fist spells out LOVE. “HATE, it was with this hand that Cain iced his brother. LOVE, these five fingers go right to the soul of man.” Which kind of fist do you think Chris Brown used on Rihanna?

So want to know the secret of stylish celebrity tattoos, then here is the best place to get them all at once

Celebrity Tattoos are nothing new but this year certain celebrity tattoos are in news than ever. Some are really excellent, some worst and some so-so. This article highlights the secrets of celebrity tattoos.

I’m not sure but Angelina Jolie might be the first person to limelight tattoos. She impressed her second husband with large “Billy Bob” on her upper left arm. Mike Tyson was the other person to pierce a tribal tattoo on his face. These celebrity tattoos were on news in year 2001.

Coming to 2008 and 2009, we have seen remarkable variations in celebrity tattoos. Here are the toppers that were in news constantly:

Angelina Jolie has got geographical coordinates i.e. longitudes and latitudes for the birthplaces of her six children.

Hayden Panettiere pierced a tattoo on her lower left shoulder that reads “Vivere”. It means ‘to live’ in Italian.

Rihanna has got a new wrist tattoo along with her boyfriend Chris Brown. A spray of stars on her back also got a great attention.

David Beckham has added his wife Victoria’s name in Devanagari script across his inner left forearm. This has started a fashion trend across all teenagers.

Hot TV anchor Mandira Bedi has tattooed the sacred syllable “Aum” on her navel.

Victoria Beckham has tattooed a Hebrew love poem on her back

Ricky Martin has got a naked nymph on his left forearm.

Nicole Richie tattooed a dainty rosary pattern around her ankle.

Whomsoever concerned, all most all the celebrities adore one or different kinds of tattoos to show of their beautiful body. In fact, celebrity tattoos are based

Okay, I understand why people get tattoos. A small part of me also understands why some people opt for an immense amount of ink and get sleeve tattoos. But the one tattoo trend I will absolutely never understand is getting a tattoo on your face. If you ever want that thing gone, you’re basically stuck with a nasty scar or screwed. Apparently, getting a face tat is no regret of Mike Tyson’s because the design is practically featured on the poster for the documentary Tyson.

Now, there just ain’t enough time in the day to debate the merits (or not) of tattoos themselves. What I want to discuss is thus… With the general increase in tattoos in America, has the professional environment changed its opinion of tattoos in the workplace? Moreover, with a concentrated number of tattoo’d creatives entering the workforce, how much has the growing creative industry impacted any marked acceptance of body art?

Coolest tattoo trend came out today is the new tattoo design related to famous comic characters of the tattoo world so the newest comic tattoo is a type of funky tattoo design for your funky fashionable look. Tattoo

Possibly more than any other tattoo, the phoenix tattoo has powerful symbolism, which in this case is rising from the ashes of death in a new birth.

It’s a sign of the old passing away and the new emerging.

Some of the images used to ink on the body have a look of dragons, as there are scales included in the art in many cases. There are also times when the peacock looks like an inspiration for some of the phoenix tattoo designs.

The unique look of the phoenix gives tattoo designers and artists a lot to worke with, as they can elongate the bird through swooping wings or extended necks and bodies, which allows it to work on a number of different body parts.

Very cool tattoo design which is growing in popularity.

Tattooing is more than just a popular trend, a UA researcher said. Over the past 50 years, tattooing has significantly increased in popularity. At least one-third of men and women between 18 and 25 have a tattoo, according to the 2009 Generation Next Study by the Pew Research Center.…

Loving it!

It’s a bit childish but anyway it’s pretty cute.

Jon & Kate Plus 8
star Kate Gosselin showed off her renewed ankle tattoo yesterday. Kate earlier confessed she wasn’t proud of herself for having this Winnie the Pooh tattoo and she eventually removed it from her ankle.

But as we see she’s changed her mind and renewed the funny tattoo.

I've included some shots of the women in their top ten at the bottom, as well as one of my more recent favorite tattoos, Mena Suvari's lion on the back of her neck. Sure, she can play some annoying characters in the movies, but the girl's found herself a solid artist.

OK, I know we're midway through 2009, but as I was bumbling along this afternoon, looking for tidbits on hotties to report on, I started noticing the trend of how many of them had tattoos. Which lead me to the list from Vanishing Tattoo and their 2009 picks of the 101 hottest tattooed celebrity women.

Although one might dispute the celebrity status of their number 10 choice - the collective of models who have appeared with The Suicide Girls - most of the others I can get right on board with. From the number one tattooed hottie, Angelina Jolie, to the effervescent cutie-pie hotness that number nine - Drew Barrymore - has always exuded.

Tattoos of the not-so-permanent type are the in thing when it comes to accessories. Yes, fake is fashion forward and fabulous theses days that is. Fake tattoos make “real” sassy fashion statements, as well a frivolous topic of conversation.

Hello readers, today I introduce fantastic and latest tattoo design which is running on trend. Tattoo design is use many years but that time tattoo design only use for tradition and it design only small tattoo somewhere on their body that could easily be covered up. Now this time tattoo design is becoming fashion and style.

The local pop culture - with more actors, singers and TV stars having tattoos - has had a big influence on the current trend for tattooing.

Younger people are beginning to consider tattoos as a form of beauty and an expression of personal style.

Taiwan's tattooists often use images influenced by Buddhism and ancient Chinese mythical animals.

Taboos once associated with body art are slowly being dispelled. Even Uncle Sam has relaxed previously stringent guidelines regarding body art. Is the current tattoo trend simply a fad, or are we seeing a once misunderstood artform that is finally emerging toward the forefront?

In the early 90s, there was a great deal of negative attitude towards women with lower back tattoos suggesting these tattoos were deliberate displays of sexual innuendo, hence the name “tramp stamp” was born.

The reputation and nick name lower back tattoos have taken on has stirred so much criticism and disapproval that many women already having a tattoo on their lower backs are so ashamed of the insulting stigma and stereotype has become a top reason.

Fair or unfair, the connotation of sexual promiscuity associated with female lower back tattoos has become a common tattoo removal reason for women getting tattoo removal.

There are so many women getting tattoo removal for lower back tattoos, that the joke is all women branded with a “tramp stamp” who do not get tattoo removal by 2050 will be known as having a “Gramp Stamp” instead of a tramp stamp. I think everyone would agree that a gramp stamp is in and of itself reason for tattoo removal.

Proverb 'Beauty is Pain' seems very appropriate to the style of tattoo body carving. Trends in this body that are carving the many circles, including Hollywood celebrities. Different from the usual tattoos, body carving this sculpture with the body 'shell' part you want drawn. Not surprisingly, decorate the body style is considered to be exclusive, and challenging.

Although the current body carving popular in the Western world is indeed a tradition originating from Africa and Asia. Scarification-lap wound-is the term used scientists to explain the history of body carving in days of old. According to the historian, former indigo people who live in West Africa, Papua New Guinea, Asia and the Middle East and New Zealand do body carving.

"Scarification occurred in many different cultures. Therefore, the womb or melanin pigment in the skin of a high society at that time make a tattoo does not look normal, so they make carvings on the skin," said Vince Hemingson, a rover and film as described to the National Geographic.

In some cases, body carving or scarification has a social purpose, such as marital status or claim shows strength and courage.

Because the process is a very extreme, many people oppose, because they included in the category masokis (happy hurt yourself). Various diseases can appear as acute infection. Some people even call this as emotional instability and extreme "self-mutilation."

But, for that body to do the carving is great fun. They consider not only art but a spiritual experience. "Body carving is a fantastic experience, and make adrenalin soaring. And, I want to do it again" said Kat, a woman fan art sculpture leather in this one website that discusses the body carving.

Adam Wears Everything on His Sleeve

There are few Jews who rock - Bob Dylan, Perry Farrell, David Lee Roth, Shlomo Carlebach - so I try to stay up-to-date on my chosen brethren, like Adam Levine. I knew Maroon 5 was on tour with Counting Crows (Adam Duritz, also Jewish) and that he had been dating Sophie Monk.

But this morning I come to find that Adam now belongs to the John Mayer school of surprise since he too is suddenly sporting a tattoo sleeve.

I just saw him on baring a basically bare bicep but today - boom - full on left arm sleeve. I was not prepared for rapid tattoo escalation to become a trend, but apparently like The Osmond Family, ink is quick to multiply.

I guess as long as my Adam doesn't end up looking like, my bubbie will still be OK if I invite him to Passover seder.

Tattoos used to be done manually — that is, the tattoo artist would puncture the skin with a needle and inject the ink by hand. Though this process is still used in some parts of the world, most tattoo shops use a tattoo machine these days. A tattoo machine is a handheld electric instrument that uses a tube and needle system. On one end is a sterilized needle, which is attached to tubes that contain ink. A foot switch is used to turn on the machine, which moves the needle in and out while driving the ink about 1/8 inch (about 3 millimeters) into your skin.

Most tattoo artists know how deep to drive the needle into your skin, but not going deep enough will produce a ragged tattoo, and going too deep can cause bleeding and intense pain. Getting a tattoo can take several hours, depending on the size and design chosen.

If you are intend to get a tattoos like Vin Diesel in the his show xXx , remember to get an experience artist by do some search by asking around, checked his/her previous records etc.

It seems like everyone has a tattoo these days. What used to be the property of sailors, outlaws, and biker gangs is now a popular body decoration for many people. And it's not just anchors, skulls, and battleships anymore — from school emblems to Celtic designs to personalized symbols, people have found many ways to express themselves with their tattoos. Maybe you've thought about getting one. But before you head down to the nearest tattoo shop and roll up your sleeve, there are a few things you need to know.

So What Exactly Is a Tattoo?

A tattoo is a puncture wound, made deep in your skin, that's filled with ink. It's made by penetrating your skin with a needle and injecting ink into the area, usually creating some sort of design. What makes tattoos so long-lasting is they're so deep — the ink isn't injected into the epidermis (the top layer of skin that you continue to produce and shed throughout your lifetime). Instead, the ink is injected into the dermis, which is the second, deeper layer of skin. Dermis cells are very stable, so the tattoo is practically permanent.

This is an interesting development: tattoo artists are now guesting at retail events. First, we found out that denim shop Earnest Sewn tattoo artist Scott Campbell on Mother's Day. (Campbell will offer MePa shoppers $100 mom tattoos.) And now, a release has just landed in the Racked Inbox announcing that "tattoo artist to the stars" Friday Jones will be appearing at in Chelsea on May 15th. You have to for a night of "cocktails, consultations and live model portfolio presentations of Friday Jones' Work." Apparently, Friday will be a regular guest at the salon, as she writes on her MySpace blog that her partnership with Xac, a "grand experiment combining couture tattoo with an elegant spa experience," began this month. Go in for a blow out, leave with a sleeve.

Fake Fashion with Temporary Tattoos

It’s true, “fake” really is the “in trend” in fashion these days. It seems tattoos of the not-so-permanent kind are the “hip style” when it comes to accessorizing. Even though they are fake, temporary tattoos make “real” sassy fashion statements, not to mention great topics of conversation.

Another bonus, fake tattoos offer a way to step outside your comfort zone, while staying clear of the all to common ground of ‘tattoo regret.

Rib Tattoos Remove Tramp Stamp Tattoo Trend

The economy may be heading in the wrong direction, but that doesn’t mean tattoos are, especially women tattoos. These days tattoos are looking up, or rather moving up for women. The new rising tattoo trend has “stamps” on their lower backs, and opting for the new sexy tattoo trend Rib Tattoos.

Almost as soon as the derogatory, sexually humiliating term reared women with lower back tattoos began getting tattoo removal and trading in their tainted tattoos for new sexy rib tattoos that crawl up the side of their bodies.

Today’s weak economy is changing the tattoo industry in terms of women’s tattoo trends. Although, the rate of women getting their first tattoos doesn’t seem to be decreasing, the amount of money women are spending on their tattoos is.

Other emerging tattoo trends for women are celebrity name tattoos, especially popular these days Nicole Richie rosaries; vintage American tattoos such as skulls, hearts, and anchors; Japanese (koi fish, ocean waves) styles; as well as a swing from English-style block lettering to fancier script letters.

Expect many women to follow the trends of and her rib cage tattoo with the words “There once was a little girl who never knew love until a boy broke her HEART” until someone creates a derogatory, sexually humiliating term for women rib cage tattoos like “Ho handle.”
